Feet cracks known as heel fissures are not only painful but could indicate some serious health problem. In diabetics the body can lose the ability to produce oils, making the skin less supple and more susceptible to extreme dryness. For most people this is a nuisance and a cosmetic problem; but when the fissures are deep, the skin bleeds easily; this can be very painful.

Symptoms include hard growth of skin, usually on the outer edge of the heel. Person may experience pain while walking and increased discomfort in thin sole shoes or open back shoes.

CARING FOR THICKENED AND CHAPPED SKIN

For thickened and chapped skin (such as on elbows), the following combination is recommended:

MEDBAR (Judean Desert) Oil: A mixture of plant-extracts in olive oil and essential oils of plants such as Hypericum (St. John`s Wort), Oregano, Thyme, Geranium and Savory.  To be applied three times a day, followed by Mazor ointment.

MAZOR OINTMENT: Contains Lavender, Camphor and Oregano.

To preserve smooth skin, consuming NIKUZIT tea is recommended.

If this fails to bring about an improvement, try MACCABIM OIL followed by the FIELD BALM (TOVA) ointment.
